Bridging the Gap Side event at the June UNFCCC meetings in Bonn
The 2010 Bridging the Gap official side event at the June UNFCCC meetings of the Convention Bodies in Bonn on "Land transport and climate policy: moving towards closer integration" on Friday, 4th June 2010, 19:45 - 21:15 invites you to join transport and climate change specialists including academics, consultants and negotiators, to hear about and to discuss ways in which the two fields can become better integrated to deliver low carbon transport systems.
The Bridging the Gap partners worked together throughout 2009 to pursue this goal, and in 2010 are continuing to develop and explore new opportunities to realise their vision for a regime that incentivises national and local governments to achieve the GHG mitigation potential of the land transport sector. The partners encourage you to attend this side event to hear about and discuss ways of tackling climate change in the land transport sector with leading transport and policy experts.
